In 2025, Leticia Rodriguez received a Strange/Midkiff Families Scholarship to continue her work at the archaeological site of Antiochia ad Cragum in Türkiye.

During the field season, Leticia and her team investigated the later industrial phases of the site’s Small Bath, uncovering evidence of glass production and a series of small kilns while continuing to train students in archaeological field methods. Read her report here: https://buff.ly/hYJyeNy

In ancient Egyptian religion, cats were typically connected to the goddess Bastet, and animals linked to particular deities were often mummified in later eras of ancient Egyptian history. EA55614.
