We love this great program for improving trail and water access!

Attention parks departments, tribes and nonprofit partners: Up to $1.4 million in Recreational Trails Program grants is now available through May 5.

The grants are for building and rehabilitating recreational land and water trails and related facilities. Pictured is an accessible kayak launch partially funded by the Recreational Trails Program that was recently completed by the Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia.

Construction is complete, and we expect the kayak launch to be open for use by the end of this week, with a grand opening planned for Spring! We couldn't have done it without community support -- please keep us in mind this 😀
