📢 Keep spreading the word! We want our voices to be heard!

Attention Bren Mar Park & FCPS Families! 🚨

FCPS has fast-tracked a proposal to move Bren Mar Park Elementary out of the Edison HS pyramid and across the Mixing Bowl to Key MS / Lewis HS, with a School Board vote set for January 2027.

Why this matters:
-Bypasses standard policy: Ignores the 5-year review commitment made in Dec 2025 and Targets a Title I community without reviewing closer neighboring boundaries.
-Safer, better alternatives exist: Surrounding under-capacity schools could easily absorb local adjustments without forcing students across major highway interchanges.

We need your help before the June 30 feedback deadline!

3 Quick Actions You Can Take Today:
1. 🖊️ Sign the Petition: https://forms.gle/37QXm5YWtqJo5AJ57

2. 📝 Fill out the FCPS Survey: https://www.fcps.edu/about-fcps/maps/boundary-adjustments-information/bren-mar-park-feedback

3. ✉️ Email the School Board

Bonus: Spread the word on Nextdoor, WhatsApp, and Facebook groups. Let’s make our voices heard for equitable planning! 💙
