As a proud Board Member of the Northern Virginia Imagination Library, I’m honored to share how small gifts create mighty impact.

The Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting FREE books to children from birth to age five. The program is made possible through funding shared by Dolly Parton herself, and local Program Partners in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and the Republic of Ireland.

For just $20, a child in Northern Virginia receives 12 brand-new, high-quality hard back books delivered directly to their home—one every month for a full year. These books spark early literacy, build language skills, and surround our youngest learners with imagination and possibility at no cost to their families.

Soulfully Driven 2 Serve has selected NOVA Imagination Library as one of our organizations to sponsor a fundraising drive now through January 15th. This is part of our commitment to expanding childhood literacy across the region.

History never repeats itself, but it does often rhyme.” – Mark Twain

In leadership, the past is never just the past—patterns of strategy, culture, and decision-making echo across generations. While circumstances evolve, the rhymes of history remain, making reflections powerful teachers.

Effective leaders don’t simply look forward; they scan backward to recognize signals, avoid repeating incongruent notes, and strengthen their organizations against familiar pitfalls. The failure to listen to these echoes often results in costly missteps, poor alignment, or fractured trust.

The keys are Leadership/Discipline/Courage
**Leadership requires humility to learn from historical lessons.
**Discipline to apply those lessons with relevance.
**Courage to chart a better course.

Organizations that intentionally learn from history build resilience, accelerate innovation, and sustain trust in times of change. The question is not whether history will rhyme (it always does). The real question is: Will leaders recognize the pattern in time to respond?

Our team is genuinely touched to receive a gift from the Scrum Alliance team for assisting with the Global Scrum Gathering Meetup. At first, we thought the email was spam—because let’s be honest, telling a bunch of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile Coaches to “click a link and accept a gift” is a bold move. 😂 Thankfully, it was confirmed that it was legit!

This photo was taken when the team surprised Tiffany for her birthday during the conference in Munich. She told us that since the Gathering always falls during her birthday week, we will be celebrating with them every year. This year, Munich. Next year, Vancouver. 💙

Soulfully Driven 2 Serve was honored to support the Shifting Into Purpose Community Health & Wellness Expo on May 31, 2025, in Danville, VA. It was a joy to witness the community come alive with connection, resources, laughter, and purpose.

What a powerful day of unity and wellness! From the vendors and games to the inspiring turnout—it was a beautiful reminder of the strength and spirit within Danville.

We’re especially grateful to the local leaders who came out to support this meaningful event. Your presence made a lasting impact.
