It is with heavy but grateful hearts that we share Alexandria Jaycees will be closing as of today. Like many other civic organizations, our membership has gradually declined over the years. We did our best to keep going; however, running our projects and fundraisers, with just a handful of dedicated active members has become unsustainable.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey:
• To our members and alumni: your time, passion, and dedication have been the foundation of everything we've accomplished together.
• To our partners: your collaboration, trust, and support allowed us to make a meaningful impact.
• To the community: thank you for welcoming us, engaging with us, and believing in our work — your encouragement has made every step of our journey meaningful.

Since the founding of the Alexandria Jaycees in 1948, our chapter remained deeply committed to the community. . We’ve hosted countless social events — from family centered activities to Spring into Summer Fest, Egg My Yard and Sandbox fill, as well as local community events. Our history is proudly shared with those who call Alexandria home.

Though Alexandria Jaycees will cease operations as of today, we are committed to finding new hosts for our legacy events, including Egg My Yard and Sandbox fill. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us via messenger or via our email- [email protected]

Thank you for believing in our mission, walking alongside us, and giving of yourselves to make a difference. It has been our honor to serve the Alexandria community for 78 years.

Come join the Alexandria Jaycees at Elemental Games on Sunday August 17th from 3 pm to 6pm to play board and card games! We'll bring the games, you bring yourselves. Or if you have a game you've been wanting to play, bring it along.
We will bring a variety of games of different types, from strategic games to family games, classic games to party games. You can also bring your own games to play. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

The Alexandria Jaycees are a local nonprofit service organization consisting of members aged 18-40, with alumni & associate members aged 41+. Each year we organize a number of events in our community. As a member of the state, national, and international JCI organization, we also provide leadership training for our members, with training and networking opportunities at the local and state level and beyond.

Our events include:

- Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run
- Sandbox Fill
- Confidence Learning Center Camp Clean Up
- Board Game Social
- Halloween Trunk or Treat
- Kid Craft Activities
