📚💖 Phi Mu sisterhood and literary talent shining bright! We are so excited for Kathryn Stockett and the release of her newest novel, The Calamity Club!

Best known for The Help, Kathryn Stockett — a Phi Mu alumna from the Alpha Zeta chapter at The University of Alabama — is releasing her first novel in 17 years. The story follows a group of resilient and underestimated women navigating life in 1933 Mississippi during the Great Depression, centering themes of friendship, courage, and fighting for your future.

As a fraternity founded on love, honor, and truth — and originally founded as a literary society — we love celebrating fellow Phi Mus making an impact through storytelling and powerful women-centered narratives. 💗📖

✨ Release Date: May 5, 2026

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

As Phi Mus, we believe in lifting each other up—today and every day. Mental health matters, and taking time to check in with yourself is just as important as showing up for others.

Whether it’s setting boundaries, asking for help, practicing self-care, or simply taking a moment to breathe—your well-being comes first. You are worthy of support, growth, and peace.

Let’s continue to create a community where it’s okay to talk, to feel, and to heal. 🤍

Together, we can make a difference—one conversation, one act of kindness, and one moment of self-awareness at a time.

Happy Earth Day from Cenla Phi Mu Alumnae 💗🌍

Today is a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of love and care can make a big impact. Whether it’s planting something new, reducing waste, or simply taking a moment to appreciate the world around us, we can all play a part in protecting the place we call home.

As sisters, we believe in serving with purpose—and that includes caring for our planet for generations to come. 🌱✨

Let’s continue to lead with love, kindness, and responsibility… because together, we can make every day Earth Day. 💚

Yesterday marked a truly unforgettable and historic moment for LSUA and the Cenla community. 💕

We had the honor of celebrating the installation of Epsilon Tau and participating in the initiation of the very first members of this brand-new chapter along side Phi Mu National President Lynn Storlien-McGraw and National Vice President Kendra Pickens at Louisiana State University of Alexandria. Being part of the first-ever chapter on this campus and is something these women will carry with them forever—it’s the beginning of a legacy that will continue to grow for years to come.

This event was more than just a reception; it was a milestone. A moment that brought together sisterhood, leadership, and a shared vision for the future. Watching these young women step into their roles as founding members was inspiring and a reminder of the impact Phi Mu continues to have across communities.

We were so proud to have members of the Shreveport Alumnae Chapter help us welcome Epsilon Tau and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things this chapter will accomplish. Here’s to history being made and a beautiful future ahead! ✨

We love seeing Phi Mu continue to invest in the well-being of our sisters. 💖
Providing collegiate members with access to Talkspace is such a meaningful step in breaking barriers to mental health support and making care more accessible. Proud to be part of an organization that values sisterhood, wellness, and helping women thrive.

We are pleased to share that we have awarded a grant to Phi Mu Fraternity to provide all collegiate members with access to Talkspace for one full year.

This partnership removes barriers and expands access to mental health support, giving collegians the opportunity to connect with licensed providers, access self guided wellness tools and prioritize their well being in a way that fits their lives. Collegiate members, check your email to learn more about this exciting resource and how to get started.

To our donors, thank you for your continued generosity. Your contributions can make meaningful, real time support possible for our sisters.

Ella was recently featured in Washington Post and spoke about a song in her new album.

“We’re just going in there and just having fun with the people we love making music with, and you don’t realize that could be a song that changes your life forever,” Langley said. “And so to me, this song just keeps reinforcing that — that every song matters.”

You can find her new album on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music today🎵
