We are ao grateful for the support of Virginia American Water!

Virginia American Water presented Cornerstone Craftsman with a $10,000 Workforce Readiness & STEM grant from the American Water Charitable Foundation. Cornerstone Craftsman is doing excellent work creating tangible pathways for Alexandria’s youth to get into skilled trade careers that lead to stability, self-sufficiency and family-sustaining wages. Our Foundation and Virginia American Water are proud to support their efforts to invest in and empower Alexandria’s young people.

🙌🏼 A huge thank you to our incredible Governor for taking the time to visit us and for her leadership and commitment to expanding meaningful youth workforce opportunities across the Commonwealth. We are grateful to have a Governor who recognizes the importance of investing in our young people and building pathways to strong, family-sustaining careers.

Today was an incredible at Cornerstone Craftsman as we had the honor of welcoming Governor Abigail Spanberger to tour our facility and see our youth in action.

We were grateful to have so many partners, stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters in the room who continue to believe in creating meaningful pathways for young people into the skilled trades.

A special shoutout to Clark Construction Group for continuing to show up for our youth time and time again. Their partnership has helped make the Cornerstone experience truly unique by giving our participants the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals through real-world, hands-on training.

Today, our youth continued their work alongside Clark Construction’s field engineering team and subcontractor partners on our Inova Hospital mock-up build, where Governor Spanberger was able to witness firsthand the skills, confidence, and professionalism they have developed.

We are incredibly grateful to Governor Spanberger, our many partners and stakeholders, and especially Clark Construction for continuing to invest in our youth and the next generation of Virginia’s skilled workforce.

💙 Thank You for Giving Back, Even Without Realizing It 💙

To everyone who joined us at Dine for a Cause at Theismann’s — thank you. 🍽️✨

With every meal shared, you helped make a difference, as 10% of all food proceeds were donated to Cornerstone Craftsman.

What may have felt like a simple night out became something so much bigger — an opportunity to support our mission and help us continue changing lives in our community.

That kind of generosity, whether intentional or unexpected, means more than words can say. Every act of support matters, and we are deeply grateful for each and every person who showed up.

And a heartfelt thank you to Joe Theismann's Restaurant for partnering with us and turning dinner into impact. ❤️

Because of YOU, this work continues.
