Toothless, aka Toothy, mom reached out to Bailey's HOPE due to a major decline in his overall health and wellbeing. He was having frequent bladder infections, determined he was diabetic, vomiting, and unable to even groom himself.

After consideration, it was determined that helping Toothless cross the rainbow bridge would be the most respectful and selfless thing his mom could do for him.

He was 11 years young and so very loved and spoiled! Rest easy Toothless, until you see your mom again.

Meisha's mom reached out to us due to her having severe mouth pain. It was determined that Meisha had stomatitis, an excruciating pain of the entire mouth including gums, tongue, cheeks, and back of throat.

Stomatitis in cats is a chronic severe inflammation of the mouth that is an immune-mediated disease which causes hypersensitive and destructive reactions to normal dental plaque and bacteria, essentially causing the cat to be "allergic" to its own teeth.

Due to the severity of the disease, Meisha underwent full teeth extractions to eliminate the disease and excruciating pain.

She is doing so much better and able to eat just fine since cats don't fully chew up their dry food, rather swallow it whole, hence why cat food is much smaller than dog food.

Sweet Sandy suddenly became quite ill! She was walking in circles with a blank stare while frantically panting & drooling. She couldn't stop! Can you imagine seeing your 14 year old cat doing that?! It was very hard for her disabled Mom & Dad. They knew she had to be seen by a vet quickly!
One of our amazing vetting partners squeezed her in & observed Sandy. She believed Sandy was suffering from symptoms of her thyroid, diabetes or heart disease. Given her age, the prognosis wasn't good.
Sandy's family needed to make the heartbreaking decision to humanely euthanize.
Thanks to our donors, we had funding to assist with a portion of the bill.

Gracie is a sweet 6-year-old kitty with the most beautiful green eyes! 🐱💚 She is fully vetted and ready to find her forever home.

Gracie loves attention, playing with toys, lounging in boxes, and sitting in a window watching the world go by. 🪟📦 She’s also a little creature of routine—around 10 PM, she usually heads to her room for bedtime! 😴

The tips of Gracie’s ears are missing due to frostbite she suffered very early in life, but that just makes her extra unique and adorable. ❤️

Her previous foster home had both cats and dogs, and Gracie got along with them. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, loving kitty to share their home with.

UPDATE from Beau's Mama:

"Beau is through surgery. They ended up removing 2 feet of intestine and in the process of surgery noted an infection developing from the previous surgery in the wall of his abdomen. They cleaned the infection out and left the outer portion of his abdomen open for a few days to let it heal from the inside out."

Beau continues to need our support, prayers and thoughts for his Mama & Dad! They are so incredibly grateful for the he!p!

One of our community members has reached out for help after their beloved dog, Beau, was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital in Fargo, ND with a serious bowel obstruction. Beau required emergency surgery and remains hospitalized with further complications that need additional treatment.

His family is now facing an estimated $6,000–$8,000 in veterinary expenses, just days before their wedding 😢
