THANK YOU to everyone who came out, baked a pie, judged, sliced, or simply showed up hungry! This year’s contest was the biggest yet, with over 50 pies entered for judging and nearly 70 pies donated to help raise funds for the Alexandria Women’s Domestic Violence Safehouse.

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s category winners:
đŸ„§Cutie Pies (11 & under): Sebastian Solheim, Marshmallow Chocolate Nightmare
đŸ„§Rising Crusts (12–19): Evalyn Woodwise, Apple on the Avenue
đŸ„§Classic Perfection: Amanda Evans, Apple of my Pie
đŸ„§Pie-oneering Flavors: Jennifer Tokar Bennett, Pi Love Del Ray (apple pecan toffee)

A heartfelt thank you to:
– Every single baker who entered or donated a pie
– Tigo Farms for their generous fruit donations
– for helping prep pie dough for the bake sale pies
– And of course, for the dreamy custard and continued support

Pam would’ve been proud — and probably gone back for seconds.

Stay buttery, Del Ray — and start planning for the next pie contest during the 31st Annual Art on the Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026!
