Big things are happening in Houston's Third Ward! 🏗️

We're thrilled to share the progress on the WALIPP expansion which will provide 102 brand-new affordable apartment homes for adults 55 and older.

Each home will feature nine-foot ceilings, modern kitchens, in-unit washer/dryer, central HVAC, vinyl plank flooring, and ceiling fans. Residents will also have access to community rooms, a fitness center, business center, activity room, and gorgeous green spaces.

This $29.3M investment is bringing high-quality, dignified housing to one of Houston's most historic communities — and we are so proud to be a part of it.

What a story! Bob D'Arcy of Cedaredge, Colorado, and a resident of our Horizons Care Center, is 93 years old and has a memory most of us can only dream about. He was Disneyland's very first VIP host.

Fresh out of the military at 22, he started by delivering blueprints around the construction site in Walt Disney's own Jeep, then became the first person to welcome guests through the gates on opening day. He went on to give VIP tours to the likes of Jimmy Stewart and Frank Sinatra. What an incredible life! 🏰✨

Great news for Houston’s Third Ward! We’re excited to share that we teamed with Walter A. Lawson Institute for Peace and Prosperity () and to break ground on 102 new apartment homes that will expand WALIPP’s senior living community.

These new homes will include modern amenities—like spacious layouts, upgraded kitchens, in-unit washers and dryers, and controlled-access entry—along with community features such as a fitness center, business center, activity room, and shared green spaces.

🎨 Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral is celebrating one year of their "Gulf Coast Gallery," a beautiful partnership with the North Fort Myers Arts Association where residents and local artists showcase their work together.
