Meet Ole and Lena, the award-winning scarecrows at Timber Pines by Vivie.

The Timber Pines team had a great time creating a festive fall display for the Pine City Area Chamber of Commerce's 2026 Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt. With a little creativity and plenty of teamwork, Ole and Lena were ready to welcome visitors.

And the results are in—Timber Pines took home the title of Best Scarecrow!

Congratulations to the Timber Pines team on this well-deserved win. What a fun way to show some Timber Pines spirit in the Pine City community!

Residents at Westwood Ridge by Vivie enjoyed special visits from local first responders in recognition of National Coffee with a Cop Day and Fire Prevention Month.

Officers from the West St. Paul Police Department stopped by to answer residents’ questions, share safety tips, and hand out prizes. Members of the West St. Paul Fire Department also visited to give an informative presentation on fire safety.

We’re grateful for the time these local first responders spent with residents and for their ongoing commitment to keeping the community safe.

Oktoberfest brought a taste of Germany to Timber Pines by Vivie.

Residents enjoyed live Oktoberfest music from Mary Hall while Gary and Lori from Voyager Bottle Shop stopped by in traditional German costumes to share samples of seasonal beverages. Our talented culinary team added to the celebration with a delicious spread of traditional German favorites.

A big thank-you to everyone who helped bring this festive celebration to life. We loved seeing our residents enjoy the Oktoberfest traditions together.
