Alhamdulillah, as part of Al Mustafa USA’s mid-year Free Eye Camp Campaign, we held a free eye camp in Darya Gali, Murree.

Women, elderly people, and children received free eye consultations, laboratory tests, and near vision glasses where needed.

Do You Know Pakistan? 🇵🇰

Found mainly in Upper Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, the Wakhi have preserved their language, traditions and culture for generations.

Traditionally, many Wakhi families practised seasonal pastoralism, moving sheep, goats and yaks to high mountain pastures, and some communities continue this way of life today.

Their language, Wakhi, is also spoken by communities in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, China and India.

The Wakhi are one of the many communities that contribute to Pakistan’s rich cultural diversity.

Our eye screening camp at Samr Nazriyati School, Lahore, provided hundreds of students with comprehensive eye examinations using modern equipment. Children who required further care received guidance, while some were provided with prescription glasses and medication.

By identifying vision problems early, we can help children reach their full potential in the classroom and beyond.
