Over the last few years, we’ve watched something pretty special happen at the Tutu 2.2 Fun Run. 🎀
What started as a fun way to bring our community together has continued to grow, with more participants, more families, more departments, more businesses and more people showing up each year to support those impacted by cancer.
And we started asking ourselves: What if we could turn all of that incredible community support into an even greater financial impact for cancer care at Russell Medical?
That’s how our new Tutu Champion Challenge was born.
This year, our Tutu Champions are building teams, rallying their friends and families, and competing in a little friendly fundraising competition leading up to race day. Every registration, every team member and every donation helps support the work of the UAB Medicine–Russell Medical Cancer Center and the patients and families we serve.
The Tutu Run is still everything we love about it: fun, pink, a little silly and full of heart. We’re just giving our community even more ways to make a difference.
Because when a community shows up like ours does, we believe there’s an opportunity to do something BIG. 💕
