Our food drive was a great success in spite of a late start to the year and a forbidding rain forecast. Y'all brought in 1007 lb of food for the First Unitarian Food Pantry! Well done, everyone! Many people will benefit from your generosity.

Pagan Pride schlepping help needed this Saturday afternoon Sept 27 at CubeSmart storage shed on Central just east of Louisuana, plus a stop at a house nearby to pick up the generator (which is what powers the sound system). I need folks to help load all the PPD stuff from the shed into the truck. Many hands make light work. Four people could do it in under an hour. Who can help?

Time is tentatively 4 PM but I'm flexible if volunteers need different times. Contact Sara T Wofford by Messenger or at [email protected], or by text if you have my number.

(Please don't feel guilty if you can't help, I don't want anyone getting injured for trying to lift too much. But if you can lift large loads of laundry at home, all we need is several people who can do that for an hour as we share the load. A couple of others on Sunday evening when we load everything back up would be very helpful too )
