On Easter Sunday, the leader of our government threatened to bomb bridges and power infrastructure across Iran if they didn’t bow to U.S. imperialism.

This morning, he told the world,
“An entire civilization will die tonight.”

Across occupied Turtle Island, people are mobilizing tonight to send a clear message:
We refuse to sacrifice more generations of our children to the U.S. war machine and its forever wars for profit.

We refuse to let another Iraq happen. Another Afghanistan. Another generation lost to violence carried out in our name.

No bombs. No war with Iran.

Read this carefully.

The federal government is trying to remove protections around Chaco so oil and gas companies can drill closer to sacred sites. And they only gave the public 7 days to comment.

That’s not public process. That’s how you push something through quietly before people can organize.

Chaco Canyon is not empty land.
There are thousands of cultural and archaeological sites across the Greater Chaco landscape, not just inside the park boundary. Drilling doesn’t just impact the park. It impacts the entire cultural landscape.

Once those sites are destroyed, they are gone forever. You cannot rebuild a thousand years of history.

If we want any chance of stopping this, we need thousands of substantive public comments on the record. If we don’t flood the comment portal, they will say “the public didn’t comment” and move forward anyway.

So here’s what you do:
1. Use the link in our bio or scan the QR code
2. Copy the draft comment in the slides
3. Add a few of your own words
4. Submit before April 7
5. Send this to 5 people

Do not assume someone else will do it.

It takes 5 minutes to submit a comment.
It takes one bad decision to destroy a place forever.

Today, Albuquerque Police were seen on horseback displacing unhoused community members in the International District.

The City of Albuquerque is currently being sued by the ACLU over the displacement of unhoused people and the destruction of survival gear. This case is still ongoing.

If you see sweeps happening:
Document everything. Film. Get badge numbers. Report property destruction to the ACLU.

Housing is the solution. Displacement is not.

Fascism is not coming, it is already here.

It is growing out of systems that have always been violent. Imperialism, capitalism, and state violence are not broken, they are functioning exactly as designed. They extract, they dispossess, and they maintain power, at home and across the world.

Permitted protests has not stopped it, and it will not. Parades with no demands, no targets, and no strategy do not challenge these systems, they leave them untouched. They turn resistance into something contained, predictable, and easy to ignore.

From U.S. wars abroad to repression at home, the same system is tightening its grip. While our relatives are bombed overseas, our neighbors are targeted here at home. This is not a contradiction. It is the design. And no amount of reform will ever fix it.

If you are ready to move beyond symbolism, beyond voting, beyond waiting, then this is where you need to be.

Join us on March 28th at 10:30 AM as we form a unified leftist contingent at No Kings Day on Tiwa Lands.

We will be meeting at the southwest corner of Montgomery Park (Comanche and Palo Duro). Look for our massive “Abolish ICE” and “We Got Us” banners.

Last year, Southwest Solidarity Network and SAINTSBALL organized a Trans Day of Visibility march and drag show where hundreds of us marched through Downtown and Old Town. We did it to ground ourselves in the long history of trans and q***r people taking the streets to defend our lives and win our rights. After the march we gathered at Tiguex Park for a drag show centering trans joy as survival.

This year we gather in a moment of open political attack.

Across the country lawmakers are trying to erase trans people from public life. In Iowa, the state has stripped cities of the ability to protect trans people from discrimination. In Kansas, the state has revoked the driver’s licenses of trans residents simply for being trans. These laws are meant to make our lives impossible. They are meant to push us out of schools, workplaces, healthcare, and public life altogether.

Trans Day of Visibility is not just about being seen. It is about refusing to disappear.

We march because every right trans people have ever had was fought for in the streets. We gather because our survival has always depended on community. And we celebrate because trans joy is something they will never be able to legislate out of existence.

Join us for Albuquerque’s Second Annual Trans Day of Visibility March and Drag Show.

Over 20,000 New Mexicans flooded Southern Tiwa Lands Civic Plaza and the surrounding downtown streets today joining the nationwide SHUTDOWN in solidarity with Minneapolis.

We showed up because children are being caged. Because families are being torn apart. Because federal agents are executing people in the street and disappearing our neighbors with total impunity. From Minneapolis to Albuquerque, from rural desert detention centers to our inner city neighborhoods, this violence is not accidental. It is the result of decades of racist policy and legislation that have harmed our communities for decades.

Today we sent a clear message to Trump and Kristi Noem: get your racist agents who abduct, cage, and kill the f**k out of our communities.

This wasn’t a rally for symbolism or polite demands. This was a warning. When you terrorize Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, when you fund ICE, DHS, and the machinery of state violence, you should expect mass resistance. Tens of thousands refusing business as usual. Tens of thousands willing to shut it down.
