Our friends over at Tarheel Weimaraner Rescue are in need of support to provide life-saving exploratory surgery for just one of the emergency medical-needs animals in their program. This sweet girl is Fibi.
If you’re able, please consider a tax-deductible donation to their program!

Fibi Update 💔
Today has been a very long and emotional day for sweet Fibi. Unfortunately, she was still feeling lethargic this morning and was not acting like herself. In fact, she seemed to be getting worse instead of improving, so her foster family immediately took her to CARE in Charlotte, our emergency specialty hospital.
For those that may not know, CARE is one of the best specialty and emergency facilities around and has every type of specialist and surgeon you could possibly need when things go wrong. We are incredibly thankful that Fibi is there and in such good hands right now.
She has been at the hospital since this morning undergoing extensive testing including bloodwork and an abdominal ultrasound. During the ultrasound, the doctors discovered a mass in her abdomen. Right now, we simply do not know exactly what it is. It could potentially be a cyst, a hematoma, an infection, or something entirely different. At this point, the only way to get answers and help Fibi is exploratory surgery, which she is scheduled to undergo tomorrow.
Please continue to pray for this sweet girl tonight and tomorrow morning. She has already been through so much in her short time with us, and all we want is to get her healthy, comfortable, and back home with her foster family where she is loved so deeply.
The estimated cost for Fibi’s surgery and hospitalization could reach up to $8,000. With three dogs currently in medical care, the rescue could truly use support right now. If you are able to donate, share this post, or simply keep Fibi in your thoughts, we would appreciate it more than you know.

No matter what happens, Fibi WILL get the care she needs. We will find a way. We always do.
We will update everyone again tomorrow as soon as we know more after surgery. 💙
