We are so grateful to our grooming partners at Duke City Dog Spa ๐Ÿ˜ On the regular, they keep our kiddos yummy fresh & in tip top shape. NMDOG Outreach kiddos, pups, temporary guests & Alumni too. Thank you DCDS for all you do!!

In 2018, NMDOG Alum TAFFY was rescued while hanging over a wall, just minutes from being strangled by her padlocked chain. She was adopted by 2 of the most amazing humans & shes been a spoiled Pibble Princess ever since. ๐ŸŒท

Last weekend I got to visit TAFFY & her awesome Mama, who makes the most amazing natural soaps & lotions. She also makes Paw Butter for TAFFYS sensitive toe beans. The smells are to die for & all of the oils & other ingredients are 100% natural.

Its been at least 5yrs since Ive seen TAFFY but our reunion was absent of time. I was covered in 1000s of kisses, butt wiggles, silly show-off antics, Pibble nibbles & the LoVe a once chained dog will always hold for their rescuer. Thank you TAFFY & her Mama for inviting me over for a visit that soothed my skin & my soul โ˜ฎ๏ธ

There is a place located in a secret little cove, Northern New Mexico that holds a special & sacred piece of my heart FoReVeR. I call it "JoJos Lake" because its the place JoJo (NMDOG Co Founder ๐ŸŒˆ 2003 - 2016) taught me everything I know about dogs. Its the place where the seeds of NMDOG were planted a looong time ago & it is the final resting place of so many treasured, LoVed & lost NMDOGS โค๐Ÿพ It is truly my most sacred personal place on the planet.

Meet Archie! Archie was found wandering alone at JoJos Lake & was rescued by a friend local in the area. Archie wants & deserves to have a loving family of his own & he is a very goodest boy! ....can we help Archie find a wonderful home??

Jana is currently caring for Archie & here is what she tells us:
He is a Cattle Dog mix, around 4 years old, neutered, microchipped & vaccinated. He is good with other dogs, deer, horses & all people (no cats, no chickens for this sweet guy). Archie rides well in the car & is good on his leash for walks. Hes housetrained, doesnt dig, he knows "sit", is working on "stay" & takes treats gently. Archie longs for a person of his very own.

We are so grateful to our trusted placement partners who work diligently with us to help secure great outcomes for the dogs we serve โค

A couple of the kiddos we stepped up for in the past few months who needed a safe place to land, medical care & vetting, assessments / behavior support / training / socialization before taking their next step CHAIN FREE ๐Ÿฅฐ

Bruno had an extended layover with NMDOG while he was neutered (Thank you Bro and Tracy Animal Welfare), vaccinated, microchipped, groomed, treated for Ehrlichia & until his approved receiving rescue secured a foster home for him in their program. Bruno is now on his way to FoReVeR!

Jace is preparing for his NMDOG departure soon, onto the next step of his journey with an approved placement partner. While with NMDOG, Jace has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for heartworm disease, groomed, participated in trust training, socialization, enrichment, has learned there are good humans in the world, became a US Bark Rangers ยฎ๏ธ & so much more.

Both of these kids lived their previous so called lives at the end of a chain, where NO DOG belongs. We are so proud of them & we are grateful to NMDOG partners & supporters who help us provide an extended pit stop for deserving dogs like Bruno & Jace while we work hard to secure their future, free from chains โค
