The impact Sandy had in our community and the legacy she leaves behind is truly unmatched. Thank you Sandy for everything, until we meet again. 💕
I apologize for not posting sooner, but this has been a difficult post to write.
Family Youth Community Connections (FYCC) would like to share with those who have not yet heard that the St. Michael-Albertville community lost a truly remarkable, strong, and compassionate community leader, Sandra Greninger, on Tuesday, July 28th.
Sandy founded Family Youth Community Connections (FYCC) in 1999. Without her vision, dedication, and passion, our incredible family-centered organization and the many programs that have benefited countless families would not exist today.
Sandy was also involved with numerous organizations throughout the community, including Women of Today, STMA Rotary, and Discover STMA. She helped launch many community initiatives, with one of the most recent being the Bravera STMA Food Pantry.
I had the privilege of working alongside Sandy for more than six years, but I knew her long before that. My boys worked for her as outdoor ice rink attendants, her son worked for my husband and me, and my daughter had the opportunity to participate in one of FYCC's Montana Horse Ranch trips.
Working with Sandy allowed me to witness firsthand the caring, determined, and inspiring leader she was. If someone needed help, she made sure they received it. And if the resources didn't exist, she found a way to create them. Sandy touched the lives of so many youth, families, and seniors through her unwavering commitment to serving others.
Sandy leaves behind an incredible legacy that will continue to impact our community for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Sandy. Thank you for everything you gave to our community. ❤️
