Ashley plays an important role in supporting our residential services by ensuring information is accurate, organized, and accessible while helping maintain compliance with healthcare protocols across our Easterseals residential homes. Her attention to detail and dedication help keep our programs running smoothly and effectively. 🌟

Ashley is committed to supporting the mission of Easterseals and helping ensure the individuals we serve receive the highest quality care and support. 🤝❤️

When she’s not at work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and relaxing at the beach. 🏖️☀️

📚 Community Exploration ☀️

Community outings are always a favorite, but the Vienna Public Library makes summer even more exciting! Our friends in our Vienna Day Program look forward to their weekly visits, where they enjoy engaging summer presentations, discover new things, and connect with others in the community.

These experiences are a wonderful way to learn, build relationships, and explore all the great opportunities our community has to offer.

💙✨ Meet the Team: Tracey Terry ✨💙

We’re proud to introduce Tracey Terry, a Registered Nurse with Easterseals Southern Georgia! 🩺💙

With more than 15 years of healthcare experience, Tracey has been an important part of the Easterseals team since 2022. She supports our residential programs in Cordele, Unadilla, Vienna, Camilla, and Pelham by conducting nursing assessments, developing care plans, monitoring residents’ health needs, and providing education and support to staff. 🤝❤️

Tracey brings a wealth of experience from a variety of healthcare settings, including medical-surgical, psychiatric, long-term care, wound care, and home health nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Social Administration. 🎓🌟

Her dedication, knowledge, and compassionate approach help ensure the individuals we serve receive high-quality care and support every day. 💙

We’re excited to introduce Christy Thomas, a dedicated Family Support Coordinator at Easterseals Southern Georgia! 🤝💙

Christy works closely with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families, helping connect them to services and supports that meet their unique needs. She joined Easterseals in 2021 as a Family Support Program Assistant and has since grown into her current coordinator role, where she continues to make a positive impact every day. 🌟

Christy is passionate about helping others and ensuring families have the resources they need to thrive. ❤️

Outside of work, Christy is a proud mother of two and grandmother of two. 👩‍👧‍👦 She enjoys spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loves most. 🏡✨

Please join us in celebrating Lesia Irvin, our Technology Coordinator and Employee of the Month!

Lesia first joined Easterseals in 2016 and returned in 2018. Through her role, she keeps our technology running smoothly so staff can focus on providing quality services to individuals and families. 💙🧡

💬 “What I enjoy most about my job is knowing that my work directly supports staff in providing services to individuals and families with disabilities. One of the most rewarding moments is resolving a technical issue that helps staff deliver services more smoothly.”

Lesia describes Easterseals as a lifeline—providing essential services, supplies, respite, job training and ongoing support that help individuals build skills, reach their goals and live more fully.

Outside of work, Lesia enjoys gardening and putting her horticulture degree to use. 🌷🪴 She also keeps a list of adventures she hopes to experience, including skydiving, taking a photo safari and living on a deserted island! 🪂📸🏝️ Her cats are an important part of her life and provide plenty of comfort, companionship and routine. 🐱❤️

Lesia approaches challenges with curiosity, creativity and determination, reminding herself that she is “the kind of person who always finds the way.” That resourceful spirit makes her an invaluable part of our Easterseals team!

🚒 Community Exploration 🚒

Our friends in our Vienna Adult Day Program enjoyed an exciting visit to the Vienna Fire Department, where they learned about fire safety and discovered the many ways firefighters serve and protect our community.

From exploring the fire trucks to hearing firsthand about the important work our local heroes do each day, it was a fun and educational experience for everyone.

A huge thank you to the dedicated firefighters who sacrifice so much to keep our community safe, and a special thank you to the Vienna Fire Department for taking the time to welcome our participants and share all that you do. We appreciate your service and your kindness! ❤️
