Stress impacts all of us, but small, intentional practices can make a big difference.

Join the New York State Trauma Informed Network and Resource Center for a restorative workshop introducing Breath-Body-Mind™ (BBM), a gentle, science-based approach to breathing practices designed to support nervous system regulation, resilience, sleep, mood, and overall wellness.

Led by Denise Quamina, this interactive session will help parents and caregivers better understand the science of stress regulation while learning practical BBM techniques that can support both personal and community wellbeing.



Participants will:

During this session, we will be learning how to support parent and caregiver wellness, and the wellbeing of those we support, with the New York State Trauma-Informed Network and Resource Center and their Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) program.

Funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health, this program promotes trauma-informed care, shared learning, wellness practices, and supportive resources for parents and caregivers. Participants will experience a variety of BBM exercises and learn how to continue their practice through this program's free sessions in the future.

Youth Peer Advocates serve a critical role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

☕ Join our upcoming Educator Cafe, Youth Peer Successes within School and Community Partnerships, on Wednesday, May 13th from 3:30PM to 4:30PM to learn more about the successes of the Menalt Health Advocates of Western New York's (MHAWNY) Youth Peer Advocates and Trusted Chat Line confidential warmline program.

Meet credentialed Youth Peer Advocates and a licensed clinical Social Worker to learn how to apply the successes of their advocacy programs to your communities and educational settings.

Free one hour of CTLE credit is available for educators.
