💜 Teen Zahara Weeks (Prince George's County Chapter), Sickle Cell Warrior, shares her personal journey of courage, resilience, and determination.

💜 Chinyere Okuji, Sickle Cell Warrior, shares her powerful testimony of strength, advocacy, and hope.

Sickle Cell Disease is more than a medical condition—it is a lived experience. Through education and real-life stories, we hope to increase awareness, foster understanding, and inspire action.

Today, we proudly celebrate Founders Day and honor the vision, courage, and dedication of our founders whose commitment to service, leadership, and sisterhood laid the foundation for all that we do.

As members of The Ladies of Distinction, we recognize that our legacy is built through service, strengthened through unity, and sustained through a commitment to uplifting our communities. We are grateful for those who came before us and inspired generations of women to lead with purpose, integrity, and compassion.

On this special day, we celebrate our history, honor our founders, and recommit ourselves to the mission and values that continue to guide our organization.
