The Benefits Fund has started its spousal eligibility review. Letters were mailed from our partner, HMS, to participants on Friday, May 8. When you receive your letter, please open it immediately, read it completely, and respond as quickly as possible. Any questions or concerns must be addressed to HMS by calling 833-635-8476. Please DO NOT call the Fund office for the status of your info as our representatives do not have access to HMS' files. In addition, the Benefits Fund WILL NOT ACCEPT any documents sent to us. They must be sent directly to HMS.

NYSNA Pension Plan verification letters for retirees were mailed April 10. If you receive a letter from the Plan and HMS, the third-party business we have partnered with to conduct this process, you should follow the instructions to confirm your identity as soon as possible. Not all retirees will receive a letter to complete this process in 2026. You must call HMS directly at (844) 512-2681 for any questions regarding the verification process. Our pension analysts do not have access to any of HMS’ files to check on the status of your response.
