Notice to our Pension Plan Retirees
If you received a text message from the Plan on August 5 indicating that your pension would be suspended, please note that this message may have been sent in error. If you previously submitted your pension verification paperwork in 2026, your pension IS NOT being suspended. If you have not complied and returned your 2026 paperwork, your pension will be suspended September 1. Please feel free to contact the Plan office if you would like to confirm your pension verification status.

Pension Plan Reminder for Plan retirees currently in receipt of a pension benefit:
If the first of the month falls on a weekend or Holiday, please anticipate receiving the payment the business day after that day.
The Plan's bank sends the payment out for the first of each month, it depends on the individual’s bank as to when the funds are made available to them.

On occasion, the Plan & Fund office will communicate with our participants through email, including required disclosures regarding your pension and healthcare benefits. However, we often have issues sending these communications because participants have not provided us with a reliable and valid email address. If you haven't received an email from us in a while, you may want to check that we have your most recent email on file and that your inbox is not full and is accepting new emails.

Are you a married Benefits Fund participant? If so, listen up. HMS has finalized its part in the Fund's spousal verification review. If you didn't submit your paperwork by the July 17 deadline or have any questions about this review, please contact the Benefits Department as soon as possible 518-869-9501. Otherwise, your spouse will lose coverage through the Benefits Fund!
