:
This Thursday July 4 is our 16th annual 🎉🤩
We are also happy to have Rev. Donna Elia.
Rev. Donna Elia has been an ordained Presbyterian Minister for 35 years. Since 2000, she has been serving as executive director of Troy Area United Ministries. She co-chairs Albany Presbytery’s Anti-Racism Task Force.
Delving into deeper meanings of Freedom, Justice and Divine Image, Donna Elia will reflect upon the role of people of faith historically and currently and the need for repentance, reparation and anti-racism. She will reflect upon a call to wholeness and theological reflection, as well as a commitment to a lifelong journey of justice-seeking.
So please stop by and join us this Thursday! 🙂

Learn Archaeology - Help With A Dig - Underground Railroad

We are launching a project of doing archaeology on space we control in Albany, New York. The archaeology is tied to the story of the Underground Railroad and will involve a week of work with a professional archaeologist supervising. Do you want to help us do this work? We are looking for potential dig participants. There will be instruction around archaeological methods, lunches and two field trips area archaeological resources. People will have to find their own accommodations and dinner. Tools and equipment will be provided. We are asking $800 for the week. Contact us with your name, phone number and address and we will follow up to get you signed up. This is a great opportunity!
