Loaded up again and headed out to bless another family in need with some groceries. 🛒🙏

It’s been a beautiful day of running from one need to the next, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s something so special about watching God provide and getting the opportunity to be His hands and feet right here in our community.

Every grocery bag, every meal, every prayer, every family we’re able to help—it’s possible because of YOUR generosity. Y’all continue to show up, and because you do, we get to keep showing up too. ❤️

Tired feet, full hearts, and so incredibly grateful for a day spent serving. THIS is Common Grounds. 🫶✝️

THANK Y’ALL! ❤️🙏

Because of your generosity, we were able to bless this sweet family with six kids with groceries and some much-needed relief. What an absolute honor it is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. ❤️

This family was SO appreciative, and I want you to know that YOUR donations are what made this possible. Every dollar given, every item donated, every prayer prayed—it all matters. Thank you to each and every one of you who stepped up to help!

But I think the biggest blessing of the day may have been mine. 🥹 I was invited into their home and given the opportunity to lock hands with this beautiful family and pray over them as a whole. Eight people, hand in hand, bringing their needs before Jesus. THAT is what Common Grounds is all about.

Yes, we want to help fill empty cabinets and meet physical needs—but more than anything, we want people to know they are seen, they are loved, and there is HOPE in Jesus. 🙌

💙 BABY BOY ITEMS STILL NEEDED! 💙

We are still collecting baby boy items for a mama who is due in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! 👶💙

That sweet baby will be here before we know it, and we would really love to help make sure Mama has what she needs to welcome him home.

We are looking for things like:

👶 Newborn & 0–3 month baby boy clothing
🍼 Bottles
🧷 Diapers & wipes
🩵 Blankets & burp cloths
🧼 Baby wash/lotion
😴 Sleepers & onesies
🍼 Feeding supplies
💙 Any other newborn necessities

New or gently used items are welcome where appropriate!

If you have baby items tucked away that your little one has outgrown, this would be a wonderful opportunity to pass them along and bless another mama. ❤️

NEED HAS BEEN MET 🙌🙌🙌🙌

❤️ CG FAMILY FOOD NEED — CAN YOU HELP? ❤️ IMMEDIATE NEED 📣📣📣📣

We have a single-income family with 6 children, ranging from a newborn to 13 years old, who could really use our help with groceries right now.

There has been a recent change in their income, and they had to reapply for assistance. While they wait for that process to be completed, they have found themselves in a really difficult spot.

Dad is doing everything he can to make it work. They have been out of groceries since last week and have stretched every little bit they had as far as they could. Right now, they are simply asking for some basic foods to help feed their children until their assistance comes through. ❤️

The family does have a red dye allergy and an onion allergy, so we will need to be mindful of ingredients.

We would LOVE to collect enough to arrange a Walmart grocery delivery directly to the family. If you’d like to help financially, you can donate through our Common Grounds Venmo. Please label your donation:

If you prefer to donate groceries, we can arrange to meet this weekend! They can use simple, kid-friendly foods like pasta/noodles, cereal, breakfast foods, peanut butter, bread, snacks, canned goods, and easy meals. Please just remember no red dye or onions/onion ingredients.

Y’all know how this works. ❤️ A few people giving $5, $10 or a bag of groceries can turn into a pantry full of food for six kids.

Let’s help take one worry off this dad’s shoulders and make sure these babies have plenty to eat while their family gets through this temporary gap.

Another day of loving on our community! 💚

Hot meals were served today, and thanks to our friends at The Anchorage, we were able to add some sweet treats with cupcakes AND hand out loaves of bread! 🧁🍞

Because of YOUR donations, we were also able to pass out hygiene items, cooling towels, first-aid supplies, and fresh socks. These may seem like simple things, but to someone living without the basics, they can mean so much. ❤️

As always, a huge thank you to Wendy and the crew at J&E Country Cooking for continuing to provide hot meals so we can love on our friends with a good meal. We appreciate y’all so much!

We were hoping to find Ms. Patrina today, but unfortunately we weren’t able to locate her. We did leave our phone number with the Salvation Army in hopes of connecting with her soon. Her bag is packed, it’s riding with us, and it is READY to bless her when God puts her back in our path. 🙏💕

Y’all, it’s getting REAL! 👏👏 Feed the Need Bingo Night will be here before we know it, and we are getting so excited about the prizes, the fun, and most importantly—the difference this night is going to make! ❤️

🎟️ Tickets are $20 and include several games of Bingo PLUS a hot dog, chips, cookie, and drink! Tickets will NOT be sold at the door, so if you’ve been saying you want to come, NOW is the time to contact us and grab yours! Bring your friends, bring your family, and come ready to have some FUN! 🙌

🏆 LOCAL BUSINESSES—we still need YOU! We are looking for gift cards, merchandise, services, gift baskets, or other items we can use as Bingo prizes. Common Grounds Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your support helps us continue serving those in need right here in our community.

One bag… covered in prayer and going out to give hope. ❤️🙏

Thanks to y’all, we were able to fill this bag for our sweet friend Patrina with some things she truly needs. Inside are 7 comfy T-shirts, a pack of brand-new panties, cleaning wipes, colostomy bag covers, and disposable bags for her colostomy supplies.

But the most important thing is tucked inside that big front pocket… a brand-new LARGE PRINT BIBLE. 📖✝️

Because while we want to meet physical needs, we also want every person we serve to know where their true hope comes from. Jesus.

Thank you to each and every one of you who donated and helped us put this together. What may seem like a bag of simple necessities is really a bag filled with love, dignity, prayer, and a reminder that she is seen and cared for.

A HUGE thank you to our sweet friend Wanda Horne Wilkinson for donating this beautiful “Be Still and Sip” coffee gift basket, valued at $60, for our Feed the Need Bingo Night! 🎉

She put together such a beautiful basket, and somebody is going to be VERY excited to take this one home! 😍☕️
