What an absolute honor it was to share my testimony and the story of Motif, and most importantly, to glorify God for all He has done and continues to do.

We were also presented with 23 “Forever Quilts” made by the talented ladies of the Piece Makers ministry at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church. For months, these women have poured countless hours, love, prayers, and faith into every stitch for the future girls who will call Motif home.

A spiritual mentor(Sarah) reminded me of Acts 19:11-12, where God performed extraordinary miracles through Paul, and even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were used by God to bring healing and freedom. While these quilts are simply blankets, they represent something so much deeper—the prayers, faith, and love of a community believing for restoration.

Our prayer is that every girl who wraps herself in one of these quilts will feel the love of Christ surrounding her. That she will know she is seen, valued, cherished, and deeply loved. We pray she finds comfort in knowing that God has a plan for her life, that her story is not over, and that restoration is possible through Him.

Thank you, Alisa Daniel and the Piece Makers, for blessing us in such a beautiful way. Your faithfulness, generosity, and countless hours of service will impact lives you may never fully see this side of heaven. We are beyond grateful. 🤍

How a Can of Food Turned Into a Testimony 🤍

A can of food isn’t just a meal—it’s a testimony in the making. It’s proof that God sees a need and moves through people to meet it.

Gratitude post 🤍

A huge thank you to Billy Wright and the crew at MRA Construction for stepping in and helping us at no cost with our cooktop situation. In previous posts, I shared that the cost to properly install the cooktop was estimated around $6,000, but once all the required updates were added, the quote quickly climbed to nearly $10,000 — something that just isn’t in the budget right now.

Billy and his team helped us come up with a temporary solution, and for now we have removed the cooktop until the funds become available. Don’t worry — the girls still have everything they need to cook and be accommodated well.

We truly believe God will provide in this area in His perfect timing. We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity, kindness, and support shown to us throughout this journey.

Thank you MRA Construction for being the hands and feet of Jesus. We are incredibly grateful. 🤍

We only have one quick fix left to pass inspection! One more item has to be hardwired into the fire alarm system and then we are officially in the clear to open. We are so close, y’all!!

We are beyond grateful for every prayer, every encouraging word, and everyone already purchasing items from our wish list posted today. Your support means more than you know and is helping us prepare a safe and loving home for the women coming through our doors.

We are so close to opening — inspection day is today! We are incredibly grateful for all of your prayers and support along the way.

We’ve had several people ask if we could share another wishlist, so I’ve attached the link below. If you feel led to purchase an item for Motif, it would be such a blessing. These are some of the final things needed to complete the house and help us welcome our girls home.

There have been unexpected surprises and setbacks along the way, but through every delay God has remained faithful. Join us in praying and believing that this is the final step before opening.

Help us congratulate Mo on 9 continuous years of sobriety! What an incredible testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness. She is such an inspiration to so many with her servant’s heart, the way she loves people so deeply, and the way she continually points others to Jesus.

Mo loves big, serves faithfully, and loves Jesus even more. We are beyond grateful for all that she does and for the light she brings to everyone around her.

We love you, Mo! Thank you for all you do and for showing others what recovery, faith, and purpose can look like. 🤍
