Connect4Faith

Connect4Faith Mission: Bold in protecting children, the Christian faith, healing past hurts, and helping others walk in the freedom found only in Christ Jesus.

Healed people help heal people. This organization is a non-profit Christian ministry formed to provide resources, advocacy, ministry support and community connections to help children and families build strong spiritual foundations free from victimization. Services are being added, both long and short-term. We help adults learn to take responsibility for protecting children, thus helping to preven

t issues and challenges caused by child s*xual abuse and exploitation. We offer help to parents, caregivers, and those who teach or work with children through training, workshops, and suggested resources. Children need a loving and secure environment in which to thrive in the freedom of the love of Jesus Christ. Kelly Stutts is the founder and Executive Director of Connect 4 Faith. She is an Authorized Facilitator and Instructor for Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children child s*xual abuse prevention training, Ambassador of Hope with Shared Hope International, and the founder of the Alamance County CSA Prevention initiative.

💬 "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:23

We'll be praying tonight for those who need Hope; for those who need to be delivered from seemingly hopeless situations; for those who hope for protection and restoration, that it be supplied. Tonight is C4F Prayer Time. Message us if you'd like to join.

There is always hope. Look to the Person of Christ Jesus. He is Hope. Our hope is in Him. If you need hope today, seek Him. Ask Him for it. Pray for others to receive it. Jesus is alive. Know Him through His Living Word.

Be proactive. Discuss best practices and what to do if something goes wrong. Talk to your children and teens. Safety measures are for all of us.
TIP: You don't "know" someone if you've only chatted online. Their photo could be from anywhere. Sure, they saw that you're a "friend" of a "friend." That doesn't mean anything other than your friend "friended" someone they don't know either. Unknown in-person = unknown period. If they can see your profile they can see enough to seem familiar, even though they're not.

Have you heard of "764"
Look at the ages of the offenders. We have to know of these dangers.
Build healthy relationships. That's the best prevention. Have the conversations we wish we didn't have to have. Even "good kids" can be - and are - targeted and have vulnerable moments. Be the guard. Get kids off the devices. When they need to be online, make sure it's as safe as possible.

HCSO DEPUTIES ARREST 16-YEAR-OLD LINKED TO VIOLENT ONLINE SOCIAL NETWORK AND EXTORTION
The Horry County Sheriff’s Office has a serious warning for parents after learning about a disturbing trend among teens with local implications.

Deputies received a cyber tip from the social gaming platform, Discord, about possible school violence, and sought help from FBI - Columbia. Further investigation revealed exploitation tied to a violent online network called “764.” Deputies identified a 16-year-old student linked to the exchanges and took them into custody.

In a 2025 Public Service Announcement, Federal authorities warned these networks target minors and other vulnerable individuals. The “764” group uses threats, blackmail, and manipulation to coerce minors into producing, sharing, or live-streaming acts of self-harm, animal cruelty, s*xually explicit acts, and/or su***de. The footage is then circulated among members of the network. Members will often threaten to post the footage online or send the footage to the victim’s family and friends to continue the extortion and maintain control.

“This is one of the most disturbing cases I’ve seen in my eight years as a child s*x crimes investigator. The ages of the defendant and the victim, and the material generated as a result of extortion was both extreme and unsettling,” said Lt. Tim Troxell.

The FBI reports that victims are typically between the ages of 10 and 17, with children experiencing mental health challenges — including depression and eating disorders — considered particularly vulnerable.

We urge parents to educate their children and closely monitor their online activity. This includes ensuring appropriate parental controls are in place and being aware of the apps their children use. Parents should also initiate a conversation if their child is communicating with someone they do not know or recognize.

Tonight! You're invited to join us for this training and discussion that pertains to YOU. Why you? Because it's about children and youth - their futures and ours. What? How? Devices. Screen time. Online exploitation. All the things affecting their brains (and ours!) matter NOW. We must take positive action. We have to be knowledgeable and aware. We have to reign in the time and attention thieves that cause harm - spirit, soul, and body. Knowledge = Prevention. Help prevent one more "Hope" from being groomed online, convinced to meet for a date, trafficked as a result, and then needing years of recovery. Help prevent one more "Mark" from being s*xtorted because he trusted that the picture was real and the girl was interested (after all, she was a friend of a friend), only to then be bullied, extorted, and told his life was worthless and he should end it. Help prevent one more "Sam" from agreeing to go live to get instructions to accomplish the next level of the game. It's all PREVENTABLE!
Knowledge = Prevention

Please share with our locals. It takes more than awareness. It takes positive action and ongoing conversations.
