I would like to request that one of the other official moderators remove me as a moderator from this group. I have begun closing groups which are inactive but which I moderate. Because another Crew might become active again, we could leave this. Otherwise, we could close it. If I am still active in another week, I shall begin closing it for the old Crew then. Feel free to contact me privately for questions. Thanks.

Michelle here: This upcoming Tuesday evening, October 8th at 7 PM, the Crew has planned to be bowling at Oak Mountain Lanes. We have been given a price quote of $35 for a lane for one hour, shoe rental included. Reservations must be turned in 48 hours in advance, so we must turn in the reservation Sunday afternoon. If we can't get a head count by then, we could potentially bump this event one week to October 15th if we need to. That would allow heads to be counted at the Boy Scout Troop meeting next Monday night. We have had a busy week and also will also have a busy weekend. We were wondering whether Bob Miller could take the final head count for bowlers and then call Oak Mountain Lane to make reservations. We would bowl up to 6 in the first lane. We would bowl an even amount in each lane (usually about 5 per lane) if we reserve 2 or more lanes. I don't have everyone's email addresses nor phone numbers, however you may reach me on my cell over the weekend if you need to discuss. Thanks, everyone! :)

Tuesday, September 24th the Crew will be meeting at 7:30 PM at the Alabaster Dairy Queen for ice cream and to finalize the fall calendar's events and activities. BRING YOUR PERSONAL CALENDARS! Kayla and James are planning some fun activities but want to schedule them so that they don't conflict with your other planned activities (Troop, band, sports, family events, etc.) Come be informed! We're planning a short meeting, and we'll start a little later so we can all get home from work/school and get dinner with our families. It's fine to stay a bit longer and socialize if you'd like, though!

Attention Crew 20: Scout Sunday will be observed at First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster, this Sunday, February 10th. Service begins at 10:30. All Venturers of Crew 20 and their families are invited to attend. Venturers are asked to come in complete Class A uniform.

Venture Crew Lock-In is THIS Friday at the church. Lots of fun, games, and food is planned. Invite your friends. Please RSVP, if possible, in order to ensure we have plenty of food! 7 PM Friday until Saturday morning. It's fine to show up for a few hours Friday night then go home if you have Saturday plans. Adult leader supervision provided. Looking forward to seeing everyone. :)

Crew, Nov. 27th is the deadline for Class-B t-shirts. Bring any designs you have made (or that you like). We will hold a vote to decide which design to use on our t-shirts. Nov. 27th is also the deadline for us to decide which activities we want to do on our trip to NC. Results of Crew Elections last night: Kayla Smith, President; James Smith, Treasurer. At this point, we do not have a Secretary. Please let me know who you think would be a good Secretary.

Tuesday night we need to begin narrowing down our activities for our big trip to the Smoky Mts in NC this upcoming year and plan fundraisers. We will also be placing the bat boxes in the trees at the church. Also, we need popcorn to be turned in (sheets and money). Smiths will bring snacks this week. On Nov. 6th, we are meeting at the Rollins' house for food as well as the next Crew elections. Be sure you come! Bowling is on the 3rd at 3:00 p.m. We will meet at the church, then drive over there. Looking forward to seeing everyone! :)
