The House has officially concurred on the ETF budget, and it now heads to the Governor’s desk. The FY27 budget includes a 2% pay raise for PreK–14 educators, funding for PEEHIP, and a one-time longevity bonus for retirees.

Senator Weaver just voted to kill the Alabama Education Lottery and give The Poarch Creek Indians a continued Monopoly on gaming in Alabama.

STOP sending our education dollars to Florida and Georgia! Give our children an ALABAMA education Lottery. Call Senator Weaver and tell her to STOP PROTECTING SPECIAL INTERESTS and tell her how you feel about an Alabama education Lottery.
