Join us in NYC as we listen to and honor the stories of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Veterans!

Katherine Pratt is a senior security engineer and operator on the AI Red Team at Microsoft. She received her B.S. in aerospace engineering from MIT in 2008. Following graduation, she served four years in the United States Air Force, spending most of her time as an operational flight test engineer on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. She received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington in 2019, where she studied the privacy, ethics, and policy of neural data.

Her professional work experience includes Blue Origin, the ACLU of Washington, and a fellowship through TechCongress working on technology policy in the US House of Representatives. She also competes in triathlons and is the co-founder and a board member for the 501(c)3 Minority Veterans of America.

Minority Veterans of America (MVA) and The Chamberlain Network (TCN) are hosting Our Stories, Our Truth: A National Tour Honoring the Legacy of Us—a storytelling tour featuring art by Transpainter that invites the public into deeper connection through the lived experiences of underrepresented veterans. This multi-city journey across the United States is happening from April to September 2026.

Echoes of Their Voices

At the Ohio Veterans’ Memorial Park, the names etched into the memorial wall will be read aloud, one by one, in quiet remembrance.

Each name represents a life and a sacrifice that will not be forgotten. The reading will continue for several hours.

The Chamberlain Network has issued a statement responding to the Supreme Court gutting a core Voting Rights Act protection against racially discriminatory maps.

Free and fair elections depend on a basic standard: voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around.

State leaders have a responsibility to protect the right to vote for every eligible citizen and reject efforts to redraw maps in ways that dilute the voices of their constituents.
