We ended last week on a high note with an impromptu inclusive drumming session!

Brother Olu from Trust Drum Circles led BraVo! in a high-energy drumming experience that combined rhythm, movement and singing! Hosting these inclusive drum circles is one of the many ways we incorporate creative arts into our programming. Everyone loves creating a beat that is uniquely their own while being part of a bigger rhythm!

Join us in welcoming our new UDS All-Star Training Club (ATC) team! From left to right, meet Elaina Fox, Darius McGhee and Kelly Maze!

As program supervisor, Kelly will oversee ATC to make sure fun, inclusive opportunities are available to everyone. Recreational specialists Darius and Elaina will be coaching and supporting our athletes, cheering them on and bringing the energy to each sport.

A trip to an Akron RubberDucks game turned into an unforgettable day for one of our baseball-loving friends! ⚾

After a pop fly came her way, she got to keep the ball and even received an autograph from Webster, the team mascot. Sometimes the best memories are the ones you never see coming!

Inclusive bowling is even better with new friends! 🎳

We welcomed The University of Akron students from The National Residence Hall Honorary Chapter as volunteers with UDS All-Star Training Club (ATC) bowling athletes. From cheering on bowlers to scoring strikes of their own, they made the day extra special!
