🎁 Eligibility: Christmas Assistance serves children ages 14 and under residing in Summit County and households that are not receiving Christmas toy/gift assistance from another social service agency.

📋 Please bring:

• Proof of current address
• Proof of all children in the household and their ages (birth certificate, ODJFS printout, report card, etc.)
• Proof of income
• Children’s preferences and sizes

Staff and trained volunteers will be on-hand to help you sign-up your children for this program.

Our second Sunday Slow Down was everything we hoped it would be: a beautiful afternoon of movement, creativity, connection, and rest.

We began with a gentle yoga session led by Sherria, giving our moms an opportunity to stretch, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. From there, everyone created a one-of-a-kind Canvas Bouquet, using fruits and vegetables to stamp beautiful flowers. A reminder that beauty can bloom in unexpected places.

Before heading home, each participant received a handwritten encouragement card from our team, a small giveaway, and their canvas to serve as a reminder to slow down and make space for themselves.

At Queens Village, we believe that healthy Black pregnant and parenting women are strengthened through moments of rest, joy, movement, and community.

Every Black baby deserves the opportunity to celebrate their first birthday, and every family deserves the support to make that possible.

Join us for Honoring Black Births, Protecting Black Babies, a community gathering hosted by Queens Village.

Together, we'll:
- Share the latest local infant mortality data.
- Learn about the work Queens Village is doing to improve birth
outcomes.
- Hear from community members and partners.
- Enjoy a meal and connect with one another.
- Explore how each of us can help create healthier beginnings for
Black families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Queens Village Sunday Slow Down in the Park!

Together, we made space to pause, breathe, and reconnect. A special thank you to for leading us through a calming Meditation Bath and to for guiding us in creating affirmation cards filled with reminders to slow down, extend ourselves grace, and embrace rest.

Hearing our moms share how refreshed, supported, and encouraged they felt reminds us why these moments matter. Their excitement for what’s next means everything to us!
