Today marks an important step forward.

After more than two years, Preston's case is moving forward to trial.

While Preston's Promise was created to honor Preston's life and advocate for child safety, today we pause to recognize that behind every case number is a child who was deeply loved and a family forever changed.

As this process continues, we remain committed to our mission of creating safer environments for children, providing resources to families, and advocating for awareness and prevention.

We are grateful for the support our community has shown Preston's family and the Foundation. We respectfully ask that everyone continue to keep the family in their thoughts as they prepare for the difficult days ahead.

Thank you for standing with us and helping ensure that Preston's story continues to make a difference.

We know June 27 is going to be a busy day in Kitsap between FIFA events, the Bremerton Bridge Blast, and so many summer activities — but we hope you’ll still make time to join us for the Preston’s Promise Walk for a Safer Tomorrow 💙

The good news is — you can absolutely attend multiple events that day! Start your morning with us in Port Orchard as we come together to honor Preston, support children and families, and advocate for safer environments for kids. Then enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening at the Bridge Blast festivities or FIFA events.

Even stopping by for part of the walk makes a difference.

Community support means everything to us, and we would love to see Kitsap come together for a meaningful cause before heading out to enjoy the rest of the day’s events 💙
