Asset-based community development reminds us that people invest where they feel connected, hopeful, and invited to belong. Joy may be one of the most powerful, and often overlooked, assets we already have.

Join our upcoming Lunch & Learn to explore how affiliated funds can build momentum by leaning into existing strengths: relationships, traditions, creativity, generosity, and shared experiences that bring people together.

We’ll discuss how leading with joy can strengthen relationships, energize volunteers, and create more opportunities for meaningful participation in community life.

Welcome to Prairie Crafted — a shop built to celebrate handmade goods, creativity, and small-town makers across Nebraska. 🌾✨
We’re currently looking for vendors and creators who make unique, high-quality products including art, jewelry, home décor, books, gifts, candles, accessories, and more.
Prairie Crafted offers both: • Commission-based partnerships — we display and sell your products in-shop while you keep ownership of your inventory
• Wholesale opportunities — we purchase products upfront for resale in the store
Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming space that highlights Nebraska makers and helps small businesses grow together. We are looking to open in August in downtown Ainsworth. If you have questions reach out to Arden Coutts at [email protected]

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞?
Courage isn’t a personality trait reserved for a few bold individuals. It’s a practice. It can be developed, strengthened, and shared. A person—or a community—can grow more courageous with intention and effort. And we all know courage is easier found when someone has your back. Taking a bold step alone is difficult. Taking that step together reveals the true strength and resilience of a community.
