💔 Three little lives need your help.

Recently, our rescue welcomed three pony/minis who were confiscated due to neglect. They arrived needing proper nutrition, veterinary care, hoof trims, and the patience and kindness they deserve.

While they are now safe, their journey to recovery is just beginning. The costs of examinations, vaccinations, farrier care, feed, and ongoing rehabilitation add up quickly.

Congratulations to RIVER MALBUMOONRVF on his adoption and exciting new journey! This handsome 2018 OTTB, with 5 starts and one win on the track, has officially begun his second career as a western pleasure horse.

We are so grateful to his adopters for giving this sweet bay gelding a loving future beyond racing, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to his connections for choosing responsible retirement and aftercare. This is what second chances are all about.

Warrenville 3 last Friday code Enforcement asked if we could take 3 ponies that were severely neglected, of course we said yes. The person having them was charged with animal abuse/neglect. They however when asked to post bond they released ownership to the county which inturn transferred ownership to the Rescue.

The new cost of care in South Carolina is a great law for the courts but not for the Rescues having to take on the full financial burden for the neglected.

We can post their photos. We can tell their stories. We can promise them a better future. But none of that fills a feed bucket.

Adios Papa Chico “Adios” is a 2020 16H Bay Thoroughbred gelding looking for a light trail riding home. He is great for farrier and easy to work around.

He has been evaluated under saddle and he is safe and sound. He is very willing to learn. He is not for a beginner due to his inexperience off the track but will be a great option for anyone wanting a safe trail horse.

Adios has good ground manners, great for farrier and is the first one to greet you in the pasture.

We appreciate the fact that his former owners retired him responsibly so that he could have a fulfilling second career.
