Meet our teams and coaches of 2026!

I promise they all had fun, but these were end of day Saturday and everyone was done 😴 😆 some of these faces look less than enthusiastic about pictures 😉

Thanks to these amazing 16 coaches for keeping everyone safe and making it fun! I enjoy seeing the kids individual personalities come out but within a team it’s fun to see them hype each other up or try to psych each other out haha.
Some of our coaches and teams sign up with x amount of members and we add in and adjust to make our 8 full teams. Some of you start as strangers and get acquainted as you go!
Thank you for helping push these kids sometimes out of their comfort zone, allowing them to learn and have fun and embrace the challenges at each event! The team aspect is so fun I personally think.

Thank you Coaches you all are rockstars! 🤘🏽

We have been lucky to have found the best of the best for each event! These amazing people are just as excited and as passionate about sharing Ethical Hunting and firearm safety as we are!

Thank you all for the amazing jobs you do at inspiring and teaching all these kiddos year to year!

Sorry if I missed anyone! We also need an event photographer 😉 we miss so many faces each year!

Thank you to so many Amazing sponsors and volunteers for our 2026 5th annual YHEC!

These people and business truly make this possible. Everything from donated prizes and equipment, to ammo and discounts. They supplied food and supplies among countless hours of volunteer help and support!

Sponsorships, and support is huge with this event and it never goes unappreciated!

I also don’t say Thank you enough to Nic and my family! 🤩
Nic is the muscle and support behind the scenes he helps with getting donations and support all year. More than that he does the majority of heavy lifting. Not only do we store everything we load it and haul it to the location each year. Then we unload and set up. Then guess what after it’s over we get to load it back up haul it home just to unload and store it again! It’s no small task and I am so thankful for Nic and my kids for helping make that happen! Thank you to my kids for putting up with crazy mom as I prepare for this event each year. They also help haul and load and sort and stuff bags and have a hand in all the ins and outs and yes we do hear about it haha. 😆

Each year we are lucky to have various participating families that come help set up as well and take down. Man oh man do we ever appreciate that! Many hands make light work!

Thank you to everyone that steps up behind the scenes before and after to help us with all the not so fun work you guys and gals are the real MVP’s! ❤️

Lots of post this week my apologies!

‼️Still hoping to find a couple VOLUNTEERS to help with The Hunter responsibility trail‼️

This has in the past mainly been game and fish employees past or present. you don’t have to be a G&F employee to help though! It’s a shoot don’t shoot course about hunting license, private property, specie specifics, laws and regs those type of questions and check stations along the course of a trail. We can fill you in on the specific course and info.

If this is something you could help with Friday or even just Sat. Please let me know!
