Grant applications are now open for a limited time, March 1 to April 1, 2025, for Lenawee Nonprofit Organizations that focus on basic needs.

Interested organizations are required to complete the Lenawee Cares Application form and submit standard grant administration documentation. For a comprehensive list of required documents, please refer to our links below.
Applicants are also encouraged to reach out directly to the Lenawee Community Foundation with questions (517) 263-4696 - ask for Paula!

All grant requests will undergo a rigorous review process by the Lenawee Cares Advisory Board, followed by recommendations to the Lenawee Community Foundation Board of Directors for approval. Recipient organizations will be notified of their status in June.

LENAWEE CARES IMPACT SPOTLIGHT :

Adrian Community Preschool was a Grant Recipient of the 2024 Lenawee Cares Campaign. The preschool is a staple in our community as they provide free preschool for children whose families might not otherwise be able to afford similar programs. The kiddos receive a state guided curriculum and nutritious breakfast every day. Ensuring the wellbeing of our next generations is so important for Lenawee!

LENAWEE CARES IMPACT SPOTLIGHT :

God’s Helping Hands of Tipton was a Grant Recipient of the 2024 Lenawee Cares Campaign. This program is pivotal in providing the basic need of food in our community. With their hand prepared meals, they have been able to serve over 1,700 dinners to their community. If you ask them, beyond meals, they serve smiles, understanding and love.. Something every community can use more of!
