The Lakota Tolloak Foundation was created to honor the life, legacy, and dreams of Lakota Tolloak. After losing Lakota far too soon, our family wanted to transform unimaginable grief into lasting hope by creating opportunities that would positively impact the lives of others.

Lakota was known for his compassion, intelligence, generosity, and unwavering desire to help people. He believed in serving others, valued education, embraced creativity, and lived with kindness and purpose. His life continues to inspire everything we do.

The foundation represents more than one individual—it represents every young person with a dream, every family seeking hope, and every community made stronger through compassion and service. Through scholarships, wellness initiatives, educational opportunities, and community programs, we strive to carry forward the values Lakota lived each day: courage, generosity, curiosity, and love for others.

Our mission is to ensure that Lakota’s legacy continues to create meaningful change by investing in the next generation. Every scholarship awarded, every program supported, and every life impacted reflects the belief that one person’s legacy can continue to inspire countless others.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate Lakota's Legacy and invest in the future of young people in our community.

This month marks one year since the Lakota Tolloak Foundation officially began its mission.

One year of honoring Lakota's legacy by investing in others. One year of serving our community, awarding scholarships, building meaningful connections, and creating opportunities that make a difference.

When we started this foundation, our hope was simple—to ensure that Lakota's compassion, generosity, and passion for helping others would continue to impact lives for generations to come. Because of your support, that hope has become a reality.
To every donor, volunteer, sponsor, community partner, and supporter—thank you. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission have helped us accomplish more in this first year than we ever imagined.

We’re looking for volunteers who would like to help us cheer on and encourage runners while handing out water along the course. It’s a great opportunity to support our community, celebrate Independence Day, and spread a little extra encouragement to everyone participating.
