Thank you to everyone who joined us on July 13, 2026 during the UN High-Level Political Forum in New York for our side event, "Driving Prosperity: Rural Women at the Center of Economic Transformation."

We co-organized the event in partnership with the Baha'i International Community Addis Ababa Office, and Saving Walden's World.

The event brought together diverse voices to discuss why investing in rural women is essential for achieving sustainable development, resilient food systems, and inclusive economic growth.

The event highlighted the importance of strengthening human capacity to better serve rural women, building resilient local institutions, expanding women's leadership opportunities, and increasing access to financial resources to unlock their full potential as drivers of sustainable economic transformation.

Together, we reaffirmed that when rural women thrive, communities prosper.

We are grateful to our speakers, partners, and participants for contributing to such a meaningful conversation.

We are honored to co-sponsor "Driving Prosperity: Rural Women at the Center of Economic Transformation" a side event at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum 2026, organized alongside our partners at Saving Walden's World and the Bahá'í International Community.

Women make up 43% of the world's agricultural workforce. They hold just 15% of the world's land titles. This event brings that conversation to the UN stage, not as a policy problem, but as a practical one with real solutions already in motion.

Today, we wrapped up a four-day training on soil health management in Nairobi.

The event, organized by Arab Potash Company and the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP), brought together stakeholders in the agriculture and environment domains to learn about soil health.

Represented by our community engagement officer, Leonard Oluoch, the training provided deep and practical knowledge on soil health management, critical for sustainable farming systems in the communities we serve.

The training also allowed us to network and exchange ideas with stakeholders on how we can foster soil health to improve food security and build community resilience. Thank you for the opportunity.

"Viruses don't carry passports and they don't care about boundaries."

This excellent quote from Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of UNAIDS, reminded us of the need to take urgent action against HIV/AIDS.

At the recently concluded UN High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS in New York, our Executive Director Willis Ochieng, Ph.D., joined stakeholders to discuss a people-centered pathway for tackling the HIV/AIDS pandemic by 2030.

The meeting reaffirmed the need to invest in -led HIV/AIDS prevention, including HIV/AIDS , access to options through , and robust .

The meeting reminded us that promise is not progress and that real transformation is achieved through community-centered action anchored on local contexts.

As a grassroots organization, the meeting reaffirmed our commitment to supporting marginalized communities, especially People Living with HIV/AIDS with the tools and resources to build secure, inclusive, and thriving lifestyles free from stigma.

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially joined the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. This collaboration will allow us to network with like-minded individuals and organizations to embed ecosystem restoration at the heart of our Climate-Smart Agricultural interventions.
