Love is Love. A huge shoutout to everyone for showing up, standing up, and speaking up! AADDC VP Wade Alexander led the parade. AADDC President Ann McKeown gave the blessing. AADDC Treasurer Rob Green took photos and kept the bullhorn working. Denise Latanzi came, representing Desert Democracy Project, who sponsored the parade, and Rabbi Alan Henkin gave the invocation. Joyce Kew worked tirelessly behind the scenes, walking and driving miles putting up posters, giving out flyers, and providing pride flags for everyone. Christy Wahine Holmes pulled it all together, providing much-needed perspective, banners, flags, the sound system, and so much more! Anthony Balladerez did an amazing job liaising with Transplants, who provided us an amazing ending point and art fair! There were so many more people who made this all come together. Shout out to Sheriff Deputy Cronin for the best police es**rt ever, and to Christy and Denise for providing medical care and transportation along the route! The 6th Annual AV Pride Walk was amazing! Amaze, amaze, amaze!
