The Absecon Police Department extends our thoughts, prayers, and unwavering support to the men and women of the Atlantic City Police Department following today's tragic shooting that left two officers wounded while serving a search warrant.

Today serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face every time they put on a badge and answer the call to protect their communities. The courage and selflessness displayed by these officers embody the very best of our profession.

Our thoughts are with the injured officers, their families, friends, and the entire Atlantic City Police Department during this difficult time.

The badge may be worn by individuals, but its strength comes from those who stand together.

The Absecon Police Department would like to advise the public that the following individuals have been issued valid Solicitation Permits within the City of Absecon on behalf of Renewal by Andersen effective May 28, 2026, through December 31, 2026:

• John Severino
• Kobe El-Bey
• Victor Studioso
• Frank Quinn
• Giovanni Adams-Cassagnol
• Matthew McPherson

Each individual has been issued an official identification card. Permit holders are required to carry their identification while soliciting and must present it upon request.

Residents with questions or concerns regarding solicitors are encouraged to contact the Absecon Police Department.

🎅 SANTA IS COMING TO TOWN!
Get ready, Absecon — Santa Claus is riding through the city with the Absecon Fire Department! 🚒

📣 Attention Residents:
Friday, December 12th & Saturday, December 13th
(weather permitting)
Santa and his firefighter helpers will be visiting neighborhoods across Absecon starting around 5:00 PM!

🎁 Route Schedule:
Friday – Dec 12:
➡️ North of the White Horse Pike
➡️ West of Shore Road

Saturday – Dec 13:
➡️ South of the White Horse Pike
➡️ East of Shore Road

You’ll hear Santa coming — the truck, the lights, and the sirens will announce his arrival well in advance! 🚒

🧭 Track Santa Live!
To make the night even more magical, we’ll be sharing a live link so you can track Santa’s location as he travels through Absecon!
📌 The tracking link will be posted the day of each ride, so keep an eye on our page!

🚨 Important Reminder:
Please do not call 911 to ask when Santa will be in your neighborhood.

Our volunteers do their best to visit every street in Absecon. Routes may vary slightly due to weather or calls for service.
