We're in need of volunteers to assist with kicking off our Juneteenth Celebrations with our friends and family members at Windmill Village Nursing Home and Rehabilitation!

We need individuals to help spread some joy with our neighbors, pass out art supplies and snacks, assist those who need assistance with the art project we will be doing, passing out snacks and cleaning up.

There's no sign up and all ages are welcome!

The event will be Friday, June 12th from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at 507 MLK Blvd (not East Lubbock Art House).

Hey friends!
Jenn’s Cottage Bakery is planning a series of summer pop‑ups, and my 10‑year‑old will be helping me as his “summer job” to earn his own money and learn real work skills.

We’re looking for a handful of local businesses willing to let us set up out front for June and July. We take care of everything — setup, teardown, and customer flow — and only need permission to be on your business property (not city property).

Available time slots:
• 12:30–2:00 PM
• 5:00–7:00 PM
(Tuesdays & Fridays)

It’s a fun way to support a local small business and a hardworking kid who’s excited to help this summer.
