🎄Fa-La-La In The Forest is coming up!⛄

Join us for another year of Fa-La-La In The Forest at Abilene State Park on December 13th from 6 to 8 PM!

Enjoy dazzling Christmas lights in a natural setting as our campers decorate their sites with holiday cheer!

Fees are reduced to $5 a vehicle for the event

🐎FRONTIER DAY IS THIS SATURDAY!!! 🤠

The tepee is up once again and we are excited to welcome y'all back for another Frontier Day at Abilene State Park! Frontier Day is November 8th from 10 AM to 4 PM.

This year events will include archery, cast iron cooking with the Big Country Dutch Oven Group, living history re-enactors, food trucks, educational tables with our Big Country Master Naturalists, and much much more!

Live performances will all be held at the CCC Dancefloor attached to the Pool Concession Building.

The Sahawe Dancers will be performing at 12 PM
The Ballet Folklorico Del Big Country will be performing at 1 PM
The Cooper Highschool Revolution Strings will be performing at 2 PM

Remember entrance to the park for Frontier Day is FREE!
