Chronic Pain and Depression Support Group of Abilene TX This is a group that I started in order to help people that suffer with chronic pain and the depression it causes and how to cope with life and people.

I (Doug Worley) was injured after a 40' fall in 1990. I gladly worked for my family and wanted to continue do so with all of my heart. In 1995 I underwent back surgery and then had another in 1997. In 1996 my left ankle was operated on as a result of the same accident. In 2008 I had another surgery to implant a dorsal column stimulator on top of my spinal cord at T-10. I take medication daily to d

eal with the constant and chronic pain. I created this page in the hope of gaining friends that suffer chronic pain as I do so that we may lift each other up and so that my family and friends who are there for us may do the same. Face to face support groups can be difficult for people who suffer from chronic pain since you never know how you might be feeling when the scheduled meeting time hits.
