Donors, our biggest blood drive of the year is back, and that means it's time for Guns & Hoses.

The 15th Annual Rodney Holder Memorial Blood Drive, pitting the Abilene Police Department against the Abilene Fire Department, returns July 28 and July 29. Donate from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Hendrick Regional Blood Center, 1701 Pine Street, or the Abilene Police Department, 4565 S. First Street.

The Guns are the defending champions. The Hoses want the trophy back. You decide who wins. Every donor gets a vote.

Donate blood. Save lives. Because one day, the life you save might be your own.

One of our deputies that needs some help. Update on The Johnson family baby is still in the NICU . The TCSOA has made a donation of a thousand dollars to help with medical expenses. Please see the link to the donation page to help out the Johnson family. We send our prayers for the Johnson family and hope for a speedy recovery so they can take baby Johnson home.
