With enormous gratitude we want to recognize the service of one of our founding board members DeLane Lewis. Delane served as the Secretary of We Coalition of Maryland since we officially organized in 2021. Her unwaivering support for our cause is undoubtedly one of the reasons the organization continues to grow and to date has assisted 230 woman in crisis in Harford County. Her energy is like her integrity - boundless! On a personal note, as the founder of We Coalition during a very dark time in our country, I just needed just one person to believe in this concept as much as I did to make it go. That was DeLane. Every step of the way. Her advocacy for people and social justice has changed Harford County for the better and we wish her every continued success as she steps off the board to take on more work to make our community better. Thank you DeLane Lewis 💛.

When Bri suddenly found herself head of household and a single Mom last March she and her four kids struggled to keep up with bills and faced eviction. Bri continued to forge ahead with her schooling and is now working full-time in the medical field. By providing a small bridge to her landlord, We Coalition has helped her get caught up so she and her children are no longer facing eviction. Most importantly we believe in Bri to continue to forge ahead for her family! She's got this- we were grateful to provide assistance 🙌 💛🙌. Supporting The Shoppe at Willow House makes this work possible!

While Crystal takes brave steps to provide stability for her and Logan during a difficult patch, We Coalition was grateful to connect this family with critical resources. Our board of directors wanted to also encourage Logan to stay positive and stay in school with a new bike and a haircut since he couldn't get one on his recent birthday 💛

When Tausha's hours were temporarily cut at her job, she fell behind on her rent and her family was facing eviction. She applied for emergency assistance from We Coalition and WE helped! The funds she needed to catch up were paid directly to the landlord. Now, her family will spend the weekend in their own beds.
