Community Initiative for Rehabilitation and Transformation

The Community Initiative for Rehabilitation and Transformation (CIRT) is currently conducting a Teachers’ Mentorship and Capacity Building Training aimed at strengthening the quality of teaching and learning in schools. The training, which began yesterday and will continue through Thursday, focuses on improving handwriting, reading skills, and effective teaching pedagogies for educators.

This important mentorship program is hosted by Precious Nursery and Primary School – Juba, located in Hai Jebel Yesu.

Through this initiative, CIRT remains committed to enhancing teachers’ professional capacity and promoting quality education for children within our communities.

The CIRT Education Department in South Sudan successfully conducted a teacher mentorship session at Future Space Nursery and Primary School. The training focused on strengthening foundational teaching skills, including effective print handwriting practice using paper, chalkboards, and manila, as well as improving early literacy through phonics-based reading approaches.

This mentorship empowered teachers with practical, child-centered techniques to enhance classroom delivery and support young learners in building strong reading and writing skills.
