🌟 Full Founder Story
My name is Rose Kisakye, and I am the founder of Hofesh Children Foundation. My story is one of pain, perseverance, and purpose. I lost my mother at a young age and was raised by my father, who later remarried. Life grew difficult, and as the eldest child, I found myself carrying responsibilities far beyond my years. My father stepped away from his role, and I had to step up—to provide for my siblings, guide them, and make sure we survived. While pursuing my Degree in Nursery Teaching, I worked as a housemaid just to support my siblings’ education and basic needs. It was tough, but those hardships shaped my heart. I know what it means to feel forgotten, and I also know what a difference love and support can make in a child’s life. Today, I’m gratefully married to a husband who shares the same vision, and together we are committed to raising a God-fearing generation. Our passion led us to establish Hofesh Children Foundation, a place where vulnerable children find hope, healing, and purpose. “Hofesh” means “freedom”—and that’s what we strive to give children: freedom to learn, to grow, to dream again. 👉 We are especially passionate about supporting vulnerable children, who often carry the heaviest burdens with the least support. We’ve walked that road, and we want them to know: they are not alone. 🧡 Whether it's through education, spiritual mentorship, or practical help, we are here to stand in the gap. 📣 Join us.
