Sometimes all a girl needs is support, information, and the confidence to keep going.

In Iganga, 20 girls at Nawandala Primary School received EcoJua SmartBags following interactive menstrual health discussions, attended by both students and parents. Because change happens when the whole community is involved.

The activity was implemented together with as part of the EcoJua SmartBags Post Accelerator Project supported by MAJI Fund and Siemens Stiftung through the Accelerator.

In partnership with , we carried out a community engagement and EcoJua SmartBag distribution activity at Kanawat Primary School in Kotido as part of the EcoJua SmartBags Post Accelerator Project supported by MAJI Fund and Siemens Stiftung through the cewas Accelerator.

The activity focused on menstrual health awareness, supporting girls in underserved communities, and distributing 20 EcoJua SmartBags to 20 girls.

The bags, containing reusable sanitary pads, solar bulbs, and other essential supplies, are aimed at helping girls manage their periods with dignity and continue pursuing their education with confidence.

Periods are normal. Yet for thousands of girls across Uganda, menstruation still means missed school days, shame, and falling behind.

Menstrual health is not just a health issue, it is an education issue, an equality issue, and a dignity issue. When girls have access to the right products, accurate information, and safe spaces to speak openly, everything changes.

This month, we continue that conversation through awareness, advocacy, and our EcoJua SmartBags program, reaching girls with solutions that restore confidence, comfort, and dignity. 🌸
