🌱🌽 Fresh Harvests, Full Plates, and Answered Prayers at Another Hope! 🍲✨

We have some beautiful, quick updates from our home here in Uganda that will make your heart smile:

🌾 Our Farms Are Booming! We are currently harvesting fresh beans and maize directly from our gardens. Combined with fresh eggs from our poultry project, our 30 children are enjoying three nutritious, balanced meals every single day!

☀️ Happy Holidays: The children just finished a wonderful school break and are feeling completely refreshed and ready for the next term.

🩺 Ruth’s Recovery: Our Executive Director, Ruth, is back home and working hard at her daily physiotherapy exercises after her major surgery. She is making steady progress!

💔😭 A Very Raw & Honest Recovery Update from Ruth 🙏❤️

To everyone who loves and supports Another Hope Children's Ministries, I am writing to you today from my recovery chair. My heart is full of gratitude, but I also want to share a very real, human look at my healing journey following my major surgery on May 6th.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, I have been able to undergo vital physical therapy. But the road to walking again has been a steep mountain to climb.

Right now, bending my knee remains a massive, agonizing challenge, and I often find myself crying like a baby during this exercise. The physical pain is incredibly intense. In fact, back in June, the sheer weight of it all became too much to bear, and I suffered a total mental breakdown. The road felt too long and too dark.

But I am praising God that He carried me through that valley and restored my mental strength to keep fighting! I am also endlessly grateful to every single one of you who has prayed for me and sent beautiful, strengthening messages during my darkest moments. Your words have truly sustained me. I will always, always be grateful.

🙏 How You Can Pray For Me Today:
The battle is far from over. Sometimes, when the pain is too overwhelming, I feel like giving up and just accepting being lame. Please pray that God's grace remains sufficient for me (2 Corinthians 12:9). Please lift up:

Supernatural Pain Relief: Especially during the excruciating moments when we have to bend my knee.

Mental & Spiritual Endurance: That the Holy Spirit protects my mind from discouragement so I can keep practicing my slow, flat-footed steps.

Strength for Daniel & Team: As Daniel continues to carry the immense load of running the entire ministry while nursing me and his mother.

We are facing a very difficult challenge at Another Hope Children's Ministries: we currently do not have a single functional desktop computer at our center.

Our staff has been trying to manage all our work on three old, broken laptops—but the screen hinges are snapped, key keyboard buttons don't work, and the USB ports are completely dead. Writing reports, budgets, and updates has become a daily struggle.

To make matters even more urgent, late last year, the USA government stopped Uganda from sending physical mail to the United States. This means we can no longer mail our children's handwritten letters to their American sponsors. Instead, we must scan and email every single one. Trying to process hundreds of letters on broken, freezing computers has become nearly impossible.
