Meet Coach Kawi 💪
A volunteer coach, mentor, and the CEO of Janyi Silver Backs Academy.

Coach Kawi is joining the Save A Boy Football Project to coach, mentor, and guide our boys both on and off the pitch.
With years on the ground, he’ll also be helping us find school bursary opportunities for our talented players.

Together we’re pushing our mission forward: helping boys overcome addictions, stay in school, and chase their dreams.

Family is the first field we play on.

Today Amara, our Executive Director, sat down with the family of one of the boys from the Him4Her Football Turf Project.

We talked about more than football. We talked about rest, respect, school, and what it looks like to show up for each other at home.

Because a boy’s future isn’t just built on the turf. It’s built at the kitchen table, in everyday conversations, with people who believe in him.

Restoring dignity, one dream at a time 🇺🇬

I was honored as Him4Her Foundation Founder, by being invited by OBEMA to launch “A Gift that Lasts” for 83-year-old Grandma Namakula.

This Project was funded by Yudabands Donors as part of Yuda Bands’ Hometown Humanitarians Inniative, this project gave Grandma Namakula a market stall plus training to support herself with dignity. Namakula before was struggling to make ends meet by collecting used plastic bottles on the streets of Kampala for sale to take care of herself and her Grand Daughter.

Barbara K Ojera a Hometown Humanitarian of OBEMA Centre for the Elderly and Children has a 5/5 rating across Feasibility, Empowerment, Community Impact & Dignity. Her compassion plus practical solutions are changing lives.

When we restore dignity, we restore hope. Proud to stand with and Yuda Bands Bands in this work.
